Pane Size Keys and More Readable Tabs
Nash 0.7.4 is a small update to pane controls and the tab bar. It adds alternate size shortcuts, background tab-spinner animation, and a separate font-size setting for tab titles.
Use Either Pair of Pane Size Keys
SUPER+M now grows a pane, and SUPER+Shift+M shrinks it, matching
SUPER+E and SUPER+Shift+E. On macOS, SUPER is Command.
Grow unfolds a folded pane or maximizes a normal pane. Shrink folds a normal pane. From a maximized pane, either action restores the layout; Grow is now a toggle at the top rather than a dead end. This gives either hand access to the same controls without learning a second sizing model.
Cmd+M therefore controls the pane, not macOS window minimization. Use Minimize Window from the menu or palette when that is what you need. The pane size ladder has the full behavior.
Keep Tabs Legible and Status Visible
Edit the existing [tab] table in ~/.config/nash/nash.toml, for example:
[tab]
tab_font_size = 18
animate_in_tab_processing_when_unfocused = truetab_font_size sets the base title size in points independently of terminal
text. The second setting keeps the working tab spinner moving while Nash is
unfocused; set it to false if you prefer it still in the background.
This release changes the tab spinner, not all terminal animations. Pane badge background animation arrived later, in 0.8.1. See the tab bar options for both settings.
